Pretend 03:49
Should you ask me what I'm made of, I will tell you "Brotherly Love." Before you tell me I should shove off, tell me - have you seen what the children dream of? If you're sitting around, take a stand. Make demands or you can play pretend. If you're lying around in the sun, mind retracing the things you've done, you come undone... You distract me to get rid of those who aren't you, though you're enough. Before you tell me I should shove off, tell me - have you seen what the children dream of? If you're standing around, start to dance. Take the chance; that's how you find romance. If you're lying around in the sun, heart embracing the things you've done, you come undone... Under the sunlight you illuminate. Only your heartbeat accelerates. Just as your hot air exaggerates, the justice of sunlight incinerates. Just like your mother and father before you, just as your brothers and sisters and lovers, you choose to slumber through truths undiscovered. Dogs have philosophers outnumbered. If you're sitting around, take a stand, make demands or you can play pretend. If you're lying around in the sun, mind retracing the things you've done - If you're standing around start to dance. Take the chance; that's how you find romance. If you're lying around in the sun, your heart embracing the things you've done -

Lie 04:36
You're so interesting. All the things you are saying to me go right through me. Truth is, I can't read your lips amidst this perverted kiss I think I am missing out on. When I think I feel love, hey say it's a lie. Say it's a lie... When you think you can feel it too - hey, you know you're no good at goodbye. Say it's goodbye... You and I eye to eye - my words cannot describe. If you cry when I pry, your eyes tend to lie. Be with me. Be beneath the tree - my hand upon your thigh. I say for you to stay nearby. You try to run out of sight. I just might get the clue. In my mind - rewind time with you. We are not what I thought. When I think I feel love, hey say it's a lie. Say it's a lie... When you think you can feel it too - hey, you know you're no good at goodbye. Say it's goodbye... You and I - You seem so ripe yet so uptight - assume pursuit and I skew the truth. My muse - enough about you. I am chaos and I call the shots. I'm quick with logic - opposed to simile like a wildebeest. I'm a cocky little prick handpicked to hypnotize you. Yeah, I'm a rapper too. Words, my muse, choose to use rhyme with you. We are not what I thought. So don't hold on if you don't want to. I will try to fix it if you will also, but I got a feeling - something awful. I feel there's nothing you would do. You're so breathtaking, but I can't feel your lips amidst this hurtful, subdued truth I am now seeing you though. You and I, in a sense, intensified. You and I - personified formaldehyde. Say you're in love.. Now say it's a lie...

Destroy 03:48
Where you when I found that what I was doing would not take me where I want to go? Fall winds blow in, push me to what I need - what I want to do. When the rain falls down, my thoughts are clear. Pity those who don't face their fears. And what is it that keeps you from seeing what you can do outside the place you're living? Fall winds blow in, push me to what I need - what I want to do. Fall winds blow in - don't resist. You too can change how you view your life; it's all relative. Breath in, breath out - feel the cold, clean air. Snow falls. Rejoice for what you have. And what you don't - do you need it all? What can you cut? What can you let fall? Snow storm blows in the cold wind. Look out, make plans, look back again. Each year, you'll do it again and things will change. Rebuild. Destroy. Rearrange. Rebuild, destroy your vision... Hey, you - get back to picking yourself back up after you break down. Hey, you - don't go messing around when you hit the ground. Rebuild, destroy your vision...

Apathy 04:39
Would you catch me when they chop me down? Would you hear me hit the ground? Would you catch me when they chop me down? I say, "Help me make a sound!" Say hello, mindless drones so attached to your telephones. See the children climb and play - things you ignore every day. Would you catch me when they chop me down? Would you hear me hit the ground? Would you catch me when they chop me down? I say, "Help me make a sound!" Apathy indeed! Roots wine and dine thee - guaranteed to make you weak in the knees. Even the air you breathe sees the need to play hide and seek. If the water rose, I suppose you'd lose your way without me. If the coastline grows, I suppose you'd lose your home without me. I propose you board a boat and sail away without me. Juxtaposed - you build a boat and sail away beside me. I propose you row your boat and flee until you're feeling free again. Would you catch me when they chop me down? Would you hear me hit the ground? Would you catch me when they chop me down? I say, "Help me make a sound!" The beach is gone now; time has come to gather round. Climb to the top now children; get yourselves to higher ground. In it's simplicity, the leaves of trees are a part of me. Apathy inside of me. Fate will be carefree. Fantasy inside of me. Fate will be carefree. Fibonacci...

Hell 02:55
So war-torn yet another time, yet I don't mind. Sin and I sing along side by side, pitch so high. We're so high. Heaven's a memory on repeat, so don't dwell, cuz so is hell - followed by more hell. I can't tell - I won't tell you what it is that exists to convert you. What's new to get into? Who is it who insists to deserve you? Who is new to give into? C'est la vie. Say I'm crazy, but I'm a good enough judge to judge- Death is such. Should the Black Hood visit me, pour himself a cup of tea - excuse me to lavatory and dive out the window. So it only goes to show that as I float to the ground below It and I are still eye to eye and I'm still high. What's to lose? You're confused by what to do. It's in front of you. Even if you could undo what you choose, you lose the time you use to think things through. Heaven plays pretend. Spend your wealth; economics aren't relevant. So what the hell have you been doing with yourself? Politicians, like hell, aren't relevant. Give in to your intuition...

about

Taking over three years to write and record our debut EP has been beautifully frustrating. What began as hazy, dubbed-out demos have developed to fulfill our original intentions in ways we would not have anticipated.
